Phew! That’s another 7 nights done (okay – it was a couple of days ago lol). You may have noticed my absence – it will probably happen every 2nd week as I work 7 on/7 off.
But while I have been a bit slack at blogging, has this transferred into my exercise and food. I am pleased to answer that with a resounding NO!! 🙂 🙂
My diet has stayed exactly as I had planned – although this week I think I need to concentrate more on portion sizes. In the past the food hasn’t really been a problem on my working week, as long as I plan and be organised, its exercise that is usually my downfall.
But last week I did okay – perhaps not as good as the week before but I am more than happy. I went for a decent walk every day, got out the weights and did some work on the ‘tuck-shop lady arms’ and used the treadmill.
Up until now I have always accepted that I wouldn’t lose anything in my working week, but that has to change. It was an excuse and I no longer will accept my excuses. There is a quote I like …“If you do what you‘ve always done, you‘ll get what you always got” – so true so I am changing what I did and pushing myself a little more each day.
And the good news is 🙂 🙂 🙂 – today is weigh in day and in the 2 weeks since I started this I have lost 5.3 kilos and I am very happy with that!
Whoop! Well done on the weight loss AND sticking to your plan during nights! That’s an amazing achievement!
Onwards and … downwards? 😀
